Denise Dunne

Denise Dunne is a UKCP registered adult psychotherapist currently working in NHS secondary care and private practice in London, UK. She has particular interest in the aetiology, presentation and treatment of borderline personality disorder, and has worked with this patient population in NHS secondary care settings delivering the NICE recommended psychoanalytically influenced treatments: cognitive analytic therapy (CAT) and mentalisation based therapy (MBT). She also worked for a number of years delivering long term psychodynamic psychotherapy to this patient population in a community setting.

Originally trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist, Denise’s private practice model integrates modern psychoanalytic and attachment thought with the techniques of CAT, MBT, and body-based affect-regulatory therapies.
